International product can be picked up in the U.S. and delivered for distribution in Canada. Products have been received and transported from countries such as Australia, Faeroe Islands, Australia, Portugal and Tobago. We are accustomed to working through ports such as Halifax, Washington, Montreal and Hawaii.
Don Atkinson Trucking takes care of all paperwork necessary to move your boat through states or provinces, or from Country to Country.
Don Atkinson Trucking meets all State and Provincial requirements for transporting vessels and our certified escorts ensure saftety during transport if required.
Don Atkinson Trucking can also modify trucks to accommodate transportation of other types of product. Our trucks have been modified to hold large tanks built by Legay Fibre Glass (Waverley, Nova Scotia) for the Lepreau Nuclear Plant in New Brunswick. Quartz has been shipped for Black Bull Mining using a tri-axle dump container. The company has even moved houses and cottages, as well as a historical church in Clark's Harbour, south west Nova Scotia.
